IYT Worldwide is the largest provider of crew and skipper certificates for recreational yachting, and holds ISO 9001:2015 certification through the Canadian General Standards Board. Certificates are accepted by major charter companies worldwide, and many insurers offer reduced premiums to IYT-qualified skippers. Every certificate of competence requires a practical, on-the-water examination.
